Nowadays, we need to carry several electronic devices when we go out, which is already quite a burden. With the prevalence of fast charging, high-power chargers are also quite bulky. Carrying multiple chargers is an additional burden. Fortunately, the advent of multi-port GaN chargers has effectively solved the problem of powering multiple digital devices simultaneously. With the 6.18 shopping festival approaching, I purchased the RedMagic Daofeng 100W three-port GaN charger set. Let’s see how stable this charger really is.

I must say, the design of the  RedMagic 100W Triple-Port DAO GaN Charger is impressive. It uses silver polycarbonate material, and the interface part is transparent, giving it a cool look. The front has a "DAO" logo, and the back features "100W fast charge + GaN," highlighting the product's design and key selling points.

Thanks to GaN technology, even with three 100W ports, its overall size is not large. The dimensions are 68*68*31mm, and it weighs only 230 grams. The foldable plug design makes it very convenient to carry when going out.

The transparent cover side provides one USB-A and two USB-C ports. Through the transparent cover, you can clearly see the internal components, and the arrangement and workmanship of the parts are very neat, giving a reassuring feel.

The black side of the tail plug is printed with the charger’s name and input/output power. Both USB-C ports can reach 100W, and the USB-A port supports up to 18W fast charging. If using multiple ports together, the two USB-C ports can reach a maximum output of 95W, the USB-C + USB-A ports can achieve a maximum output of 83W, and using all three ports simultaneously can reach a maximum output of 98W.

As we all know, one issue with super fast charging is that it can easily cause overheating. In terms of safety protection, the  RedMagic 100W Triple-Port DAO GaN Charger features Neocharger3.0 fast charging technology, which can intelligently recognize devices to allocate power better, protecting device safety without causing damage. It also includes GaN chips and Efficient cooling technology for real-time temperature control to prevent overheating during fast charging. Additionally, it supports a trickle charging mode for those who charge their phones overnight, protecting the phone throughout the night. It also has 10 layers of safety protection, including short-circuit protection, overheat protection, and overcurrent protection, covering all safety aspects.
